Cakemasters

Pure Rouda SRL started as a small brick-and-mortar store specializing in confectionary in Arad. Today, under the brand name CakeMasters, it is the leader in the Romanian market for raw materials and confectionary tools — with around 100 orders processed daily and two storage halls of over 500 sq m each. This transformation was built around a PrestaShop online store developed by Intersectic 5–6 years ago, starting from scratch.

Implemented solution

We chose PrestaShop as our platform — the only right decision for a catalog with thousands of SKUs from various categories (sugar pastes, chocolate, dyes, utensils, packaging) and for an order volume that was going to grow aggressively. WordPress + WooCommerce would have caved in under the pressure of this scale.

• Full courier integration — Sameday and other companies, with automatic AWB generation and tracking integrated into the customer’s account
• Order urgency system — orders placed before 11:00 with the “urgent” option leave the same day, fully automated system
• Dedicated B2B accounts for professional confectioners with volume prices and order history
• Automatic invoicing module — each order automatically generates an invoice, completely eliminating the manual process
• Free conditional shipping — automatic logic for orders over 999 lei / max 17 kg per package
• Design adapted to the professional audience — confectioners who order quickly, know exactly what they are looking for, need efficient navigation, not visual effects

Resultate

CakeMasters has grown from a local brick-and-mortar store to the national leader in the specialty confectionery market. The online store was the engine of this growth — it allowed access to customers from all over Romania and created the infrastructure to process volumes that would not have been possible physically.
