OldBoys UTA Batrana Doamna is the association that brings together the former emblematic players of FC UTA Arad — one of the most successful clubs in the history of Romanian football. The association’s goal is to continue the football tradition of the team known as “Batrana Doamna” by participating in exhibition matches and old-boys tournaments. The project came directly from the association’s president, Dorel Toderas, with a clear vision: a functional, dynamic website that lives up to the legend of UTA.
The implemented solution
We built a WordPress site with an architecture oriented towards dynamic content — each section is independently manageable, and information about matches and results is updated in real time by the association’s team.
- Scheduled matches and results — dedicated section displaying the last 4 results, scores, opposing teams and match details. Administrators enter results directly from WordPress, without technical intervention.
- Team — complete listing of players, coaches and medical staff with photos and profile data
- Association — presentation of management, collaborators and honorary members — people with impressive stories and CVs in Romanian football
- News — section of articles about tournaments, events and activities of the association, updated regularly
- Photo gallery — visual archive of matches and tournaments, organized chronologically
- Game equipment — presentation of the official team equipment
- Social media integration — Facebook and YouTube prominently linked, active channels with UTA supporters from all over Romania
